Course Description
This course will give you ideas and tools as to how you can employ Staff-On-Demand (Freelancers) to help grow your business. It will help you to: 1: understand the importance of Staff-on-Demand 2. define your growth ambitions 3: decide which competencies you need to find to fulfill your ambitions 4: establish a profile for the required behavioral pattern of your Staff-On-Demand 5: decide where your Staff-On-Demand should be placed in your organization 6: decide what you can and will offer to attract your Staff-On-Demand 7: find out where to contact the Staff-On-Demand you require 8: examine step by step how you will enable the Staff-On-Demand to initiate the task 9: select management and communication tools for your Staff-On-Demand project 10: select and prepare progress and output measurement for Staff-On-Demand and others In each of the ten sections - called UNITS - you will find one or more MATERIALS consisting of texts, videos, speaks, links to portals, and exercises. Also one or more TAGS relating to the exercises.

Unit 1 Introduction
Learn about the "Moonshot Ambition" we have in our startup SMExO IVS. Watch a video with bestseller author Salim Ismail ("Exponential Organizations") explaining about Staff-On-Demand. Unit 3 Find out which competencies your need from your Staff-On-Demand.
Do you have the skills and competencies available in your company - which you need to fulfill your growth ambitions? - enables you to keep up with the ever-increasing requirements to stay relevant to your customers? - enables you to outcompete your competitors? As digital transformation disrupts the workplace, one factor more than any others will determine which companies turn digital to their advantage: PEOPLE. The talented people who can use existing digital technologies and adapt to evolving and new methods. Without these people, companies will struggle to benefit from the latest advances in technology. Unit 4 Test the behavioral pattern of your Staff-On-Demand.
“You hire on CV, fire on behavior”. Personal traits determine a person´s mode and success of performance in job. Insight in personal characteristics is therefore very important.. Personal judgment is mostly unreliable, biased and risky. CVs, references, etc., cannot reliably predict performance. A recognized, scientifically based, analytical behavioral tool is a valuable help - because it gives you defined criteria and measurements In the MATERIALS section below, the first EXERCISE (A) gives you access to a number of personal test tools. Unit 5 Find out where to place your Staff-On-Demand in your organization
In order to ensure efficient operation, communication and cooperation you should consider carefully how to integrate Staff-on-Demand in your organisation. This includes hierarchical position, function/department, boss, collegues and subordinates (e.g. secretary, assistants). Also note your company culture, mode of cooperation (e.g. meeting structure), as well as individual attitudes, competences and personalities of your staff. Unit 6 Decide what you can and will offer to attract your Staff-On-Demand
The more competent and sought-after the external specialist is, the more choosy she or he will be when selecting a job. You need to think about how to attract the best specialist. Define the person´s likely selection criteria, e.g.: fee, currency, payment, challenge of project, influence/authority, your company´s professional skills and reputation. Unit 7 Where to find and hire your Staff-On-Demand?
This unit will enable you to find the external experts you have established that you need. Before you begin your search, you will check the foundation for your search process and decide who should take hand of the search process. Then, you will be presented with several sources of talent. In the MATERIALS section below, your task in EXERCISE A is to decide who should be responsible for finding the SoD.. You can do it by:: 1: Downloading the exercise form Click on the exercise form. In the previous unit (7) you established how and where to find your Staff-on-Demand. Now you can implement the onboarding process. This unit details how to handle the extremely important process of integrating the expert in your organization. You can also find a number of tools to be used in the process. In the MATERIALS section below, EXERCISES A-G contain a number of important items for you to consider in order to make the most out of the integration. Unit 9 Select the management and communication tools you will use to cooperate with your Staff-On-demand

Unit 10 Find out how you can set up real-time dashboards for your Staff-On-Demand project.
A video explains why you should use Dashboards. Then you go through an exercise to decide which business activities or results to measure, how to measure them, and where to find the necessary data. You will find that there is quite a number of things to consider but your time is well spent: all of them are useful as means to ensure that your ambition will be fulfilled. Finally, you select the online Dashboard tools which are suited for your purpose. In the MATERIALS section below, EXERCISE A contains useful issues for you to consider in order to use Dashboards efficiently. 1: Download each of the exercise form in turn. Here you get an insight in the 11 methods to achieve exponential growth. Then you can use the SMExO test to measure your company´s readiness for exponential growth and what methods to use.
