Units

Unit 1 Do we really love the earth?
What do you love about this planet? Perhaps you’re a great skier or surfer. Maybe you enjoy fresh seafood and local fruits. Soon, you won’t be able to enjoy the marvels of the planet because we are all doing our part in destroying it everyday. Rasmus Stuhr Jakobsen, CEO of CARE Denmark, urges you to take a step in the right direction towards the often overwhelming issue climate change.
Unit 2 250,000+ deaths
The climate crisis isn’t just affecting the planet we live on, it is literally killing thousands of people. According to LiveScience, climate-induced disasters have killed more than 250,000 people in a given year! For this unit, we have two featured videos from Rasmus Stuhr Jakobsen, CEO of CARE Denmark, as he dives deeper into the issues of the climate crisis. We have also included a case study of the Dominican Republic, so you can SEE just one example of how people are suffering because people like you and me are not taking action towards SDG#13.
Unit 3 Change your action
